To be honest, I initially thought this was a sequel to Gate, but it is actually a completely separate thing. Synopsis from AniList:

I guess it is like if Kirito were to get isekai’ed? I wasn’t familiar with this series at all, but it is rated pretty well on MangaDex, so might give it a glance to see what I think.
That is exactly my thought reading the synopsis— this sounds exactly like the shitty isekai spin-off to SAO that never happened. Even the MC looks similar, just needs to be dual wielding to complete the look.
