Full announcement below (emphasis mine):

Get ready for around-the-clock anime, because Crunchyroll announced the launch of a new 24/7 channel. Anime is on the menu all the time on the Crunchyroll channel, which will be available first via Amazon Freevee, LG Channels (available on LG Smart TVs), The Roku Channel and VIZIO WatchFree+.

The network will include English-dubbed programing at launch with a bunch of fan-favorites making an appearance. Among the featured series are:

  • Horimiya
  • Ranking of Kings
  • Moriarty the Patriot
  • PSYCHO–PASS
  • Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest
  • Sugar Apple Fairytale
  • To Your Eternity
  • Code Geass

The channel is a collaboration between Crunchyroll and GSN. Look for other promotional, genre and themed programming blocks to be scheduled to give viewers a taste of the varied anime coming out of Japan.

Crunchyroll largely restructured its own free tier last year. I think it’s because of the ubiquity of services like Tubi and Pluto, which does have a bunch of anime available.

thanks. I had not used it or funimation in years when they both made the free tier bs. back at crunchyroll for now. Sorta cracks me up they put dubs behind paywall as a strategy. From my experience with anime fans the ones who will pay find subs to be the premium.
