Strong heroine. Great animation. Music by kevin penkin (composer for Made in Abyss). Excellent attention to detail. Good story (I have read the manga).

It’s wild how the setup is literally, our hero gets kidnapped and sold. And she just acts the entire time, like meh, it happens.
I look forward to seeing more, the art was gorgeous.
This is the third time I see a character with gremlin energy and voiced by Aoi Yuki and I instantly adore them. Tatsumaki, Tanya Degrechauff and now Maomao.
Very happy this seems to be getting a good adaptation.
Watched it without knowing anything about the plot and now it’s my favorite of this Fall with Frieren.
The art is excellent, it’s a bit goofy but not too much, and the story is interesting.
