    You take what is essentially a sea cockroach and cut it right and put it on top of rice that is mixed with vinegar. I don’t care how well it’s executed, you’re eating raw fish or raw bugs with vinegar rice.

      People won’t like how right you are. Especially if you point out how similar Norwegian and Japanese food is: some kind of brined or vinegar fish and a vegetable.

        Japanese cuisine is not just sushi. Look at literally everything else and their food is flavorful and a rich mix of ingredients. Hell, that’s why umami is a japanese word.
