Premieres in April 2024. The new PV can be seen here. Synopsis of the source light novel from AniList:

Deemed a “good-for-nothing” for his low level and lack of a god-given Gift, Allen is stripped of his noble status and banished from the Duchy of Westfeldt. But Allen has a secret: he was a great hero in a previous life, and he’s thrilled for the chance to finally live the way he pleases! His drama-free existence, however, is soon interrupted by a desperate encounter with his ex-fiancée. As a former hero who still possesses the incredible powers from his past life, Allen can’t ignore someone in need—no matter how much he might like to! And so begins the new heroic saga our former hero never wanted!

Not going to lie, I got this series confused with like three others when I was making this post. There are too many “banished from the hero party” series going on right now. It’s tough to keep them all straight.

The whole isekai (and by extension generic anime fantasy) genre is absolutely saturated to the brim. It’s all the same premise and characters and story beats over and over and over and over again… I can’t imagine Japanese audiences aren’t also sharing the same sentiment, especially when every season there’s at least 3 or 4 shows of this kind, not to mention the endless numbers of mangas and light novels as well. The sheer lack of creativity is astounding.

I feel like the slice of life boom had more creativity than this, they might have mostly had the same base premise but cgdct at least wasn’t a full plot set up they all stole from each other.
