    I think this is the first time he is going directly against the tip of Hitogami. Makes me really curious how Hitogami will take that and what the consequences of it will be, if any at all

      I find it interesting that this is titled Turning Point 3. The first two Turning Point episodes had a very obvious Major Event. This one seems much more subtle. Rudeus made a decision to do something directly against the advice of the Man-god, but nothing big has happened yet.

        I think I read some years ago from the author that turning points aren’t really some big event but how Rudeus’s life is going from this point onwards.

    Good episode as usual, but I’m mainly excited for the next one since it’s finally going to be further along the story than the manga by the end of it.

    And for those that may be concerned: both the anime and manga are adaptations of the light novel, which from what I understand is eons ahead in the story, if not already finished.

      I red all the web novel, but AFAIK the light novel should be done too. Or if it is not done, just missing a book maybe.
