Last I checked the pings and curls from inside the container worked. I think I even checked that I was coming out of the mullvad vpn and all seemed fine, but qBittorrent was telling me it couldn’t reach any trackers.

Hmm I’ve never even thought about it like that but sounds plausible, I’ll look into that more later, thank you.

Thank you for putting into perspective for me. That actually helped not stressing out about it so much. My life doesn’t depend on these services working, I’m not a heavy user anyways. It just itched me that I’ve felt like I’m 95% there to the perfect setup but just couldn’t get there.

That’s what I figured as well. I probably wouldn’t be a super seeder (sorry) but to my understanding it should work without port forwarding somehow.

From what I’ve read mullvad stopped openVPN support, so that might be the issue there

I started self hosting 4 weeks ago on a small Dell Wyse with a 2 TB external SSD plugged in. I’ve been using YunoHost as the backbone of everything and so far it’s been a blast.

It now has Immich, Calibre-Web, Jellyfin, Navidrome and more running on it. Soon I’ll hopefully replace my iPhone with something more privacy focused.

I‘ll see how well it‘ll work when I’ll eventually want to install something that isn’t directly supported as a „native“ yunohost app.

Und hängst damit von Googles Marktmacht im Browserbereich ab, weil Brave wie alle anderen relevanten Browser auf der Chromium Engine von Google läuft.

Ich hatte aus Interesse (und weil ich wissen wollte, welche Firmen überhaupt in dem Verband sind um evtl. Firmen auf den Sack zu gehen wie sie die AfD so finden) mal deren Webseite aufgerufen. Darauf fand ich erstmal ein Statement zu der aktuellen Debatte, dass etwas zurückrudernd war und vielleicht gar nicht mal komplette Hundescheiße. Als ich im Beitrag drunter dann aber dieses Aufmacherbild gesehen hab, wusste ich gleich woher der Wind weht und dachte mir weiterhin: “ne okay, is klar, fickt euch”!

Wenn Erwachsene sich an die ganzen Regeln und Vorsätze halten würden, die sie ihren Kindern Tag für Tag einreden wäre die Welt ein deutlich besserer Ort.

Oohh, sehr spannend, viel Erfolg dir! Meine Partnerin und ich sind beide auch im Nähen drin und nähen unseren Kindern hin und wieder Anziehsachen (da brauchts nicht so viel Stoff wie für Erwachsene). Das Hosenthema ist für mich aber auch ein leidiges und ich laufe nicht ohne Grund die letzten zwei Wochen bereits in Jogginghosen rum (: daher interessiert mich besonders, was für Stoff du gekauft hast? Und was für einen Schnitt genau du genommen hast? :) drück die Daumen dass du dranbleiben kannst, ich kenne das zu gut mit fünftausend Ideen die man anfängt und nie zu Ende bringt.
