They do effectively the same, but most software is build with docker in mind. podman should work but be prepared for some frustration using it.

I guess there’s multiple ways of looking at things. When I think of liveability, it should keep up at least some standard of living for everyone living there. And the conditions I’ve seen in places like Frankfurt came to me as quite a shock how that was even possible in a developed country

You can get 12V power dividers that plug into a 120 watt laptop adapter, if you keep your energy requirements down it saves quite a bit of space, noise and cost
