Jetbrains moved away from the purchase version model and to an actual monthly/yearly subscription model a very long time ago. I don’t even think you can buy their products anymore, they’re literally subscription models, no longer buy versions then get updates for a year sort of thing. You either pay them and have access or don’t and lose it.

This one they emailed to people with slightly more detail. You could barely find any official information about this from Google after the last announcement, so it’s good they’re telling people now. Very annoying that I’m being forced into square space if I don’t transfer out before then though.

Google and other large scale providers have intentionally made it very difficult to self host your own email. It’s generally not considered a wise move these days and is very difficult to maintain.

Only if you had root access to your router. It’s a lot easier to write or find a very simple update script and schedule it to run every now and then via crontab.
