Then the Frieren writer should make them objectively evil and not contradict themselves. I like it when writers put some thought into their genocides.

Did you read about Tolkien’s dilemma? When you give your evil race the ability to think and feel you give away the right to call all of them evil. Because they can learn, they can learn to be good.
Yes, it’s morally good to kill the evil ones we see in the show, however, when you say you want to kill everyone, you are also roping in innocent lives.
(Also, using “woke” as a pejorative is really cringe.)
Exactly.
The show contradicts your point about speech only being used to lure humans when they speak to each other in private, discussing things such as parents.
Frieren wants to explicitly kill all demons, ergo a genocide. This is a tricky subject because this is inherently a very evil thing to do. You can make your race evil, but then you need to be really careful.
I would recommend reading about Tolkien’s dilemma when it comes to the orcs. It’s very similar.
I was thinking about Frieren. Thank you :3
I don’t really care if Frieren herself thinks about it, I just find it more interesting if the writer has put some thought about it.
Hehe, exciting, but I wonder if they’ll touch any more on the genocide problem.
Wait, she was given strange looks when she pushed the guy groping her away? That’s fucked.
Yeah, that was what I was referring to when I said the girls want to be enslaved. I think I heard that she also convinces another girl to be enslaved to the MC to make her a better fighter or something.
Wild, lmao. How does even age work in a world where your maturity is tied to levels?
I’ve actually read the first couple of light novels of that series, and while it feels much more ad-hoc than other books, things actually seem to have a direction.
Ever since I started reading books I’ve felt like isekais really only have a starting concept and nothing more. Is there a single one that’s actually managed to make a full arc with an ending?
Is this the show where the girls want to be enslaved?
To be honest, I don’t even remember what I say, I just let something slip out and hope they’re not too weirded out.
