Have you been able to use it with your AMD GPU? I have a 6800 and would like to test something

I swear I misread “second hand dicks” and was so confused
uh! this is interesting! I’m gonna look into this. Thanks!
This answered my question. Thank you. I guess I will sacrifice redundancy
Thank you, this is what I was worrying about. As for the “why”, even if my server is quite stable, a shutdown may be necessary and sometimes slowdowns with pi-hole happened. Some redundancy would have been better.
Thank you for the detailed answer! It seems really interesting and I will definitely give a try on my server!
I’m intrigued. How does it work? Do you have a link or an article to point me to?
I don’t have Android TV so I didn’t know that. Since that’s a feature available in every jellyfin app I own (android, osx, windows, Linux, web) I assumed it was available everywhere.
Oh I didn’t know that! Strange!
Yeah, it’s running Great. Use the BigBear shop version, it’s basically ready-to-go
You can definitely search and download subtitles using both jellyfin app and webapp. I do this all the times.
This made me realize that, besides house services (mortgage, bills), SIM provider and a single website host+domain, I am currently completely subscription free and I think it’s something to be proud of. Wow!
This seems Interesting. thanks! I’ll add a semi-ot question: if I’m using CasaOs, can I stop using it (maybe even uninstall it) while keeping my docker apps and configuration as they are now? I started with CasaOs but now I feel I could give it up and start manually handling my containers
I’m a noob, but I’m running a Frirzbox router and it seems great to me. 0 problem in configuration and happened to have lots of useful features now that I’m exploring self hosting (it support woreguard VPN natively and have automatic wakeonlan feature for my server)
You know, I never thought about that
yeah exactly! I have loss even in 4g (VPN on vs VPN off)
This is a good workaround, thanks! Did not know it was possible
I was testing it with my Android smartphone with the Wireguard VPN app installed. Both wifi and 4g connection takes like a 40% drop in performance VPNon vs VPNoff
I’m from Italy so my ISP choice is actually really limited, but I’m gonna look into this
This is really really important!
