That’s a neat application of LLMs. I echo the other comments here in that I’d want final say on file changes and the ability to only enable it for certain directories.
A soup.

Debian! I have a Plex server on Debian and it’s been nice and stable. I stream 4k to two tvs at my house at once. Works well.
That’s awesome that you’ve got such an old PC doing so much!
I’m using an old gaming pc. 16 gb ram and i5 9400F. Less specs than what you’re looking for but I’m running Nextcloud, Plex (@4k), Pihole, home assistant, and an entire Debian virtual machine. All of that uses 10GB of ram.
If ya want budget, you can go really far with low specs.
I use Nextcloud to hold all my personal and important files as well as my wife and I’s shared photo album. I use an old Surface laptop as a digital picture frame and have it on a random loop slideshow of our pictures album on our Nextcloud.
We use the iPhone apps to upload our photos and then it shows up on our frame. Works really well!
Why? What’s wrong with Nextcloud?
Check out LM Studio. Totally free and very nice GUI. You can do some very cool things with it. That and Kobold AI. Very simple self hosting no need for configuration either. Download and open essentially.
No but now I know what to do with my old hard drive that failed :)
Aaaaaa I meant png this whole time. My life is ogre.
Thank u for using a transparent gif. It’s refreshing and delicious.
Je pense que cest plus Italien. Ce n’est pas francais.
You can manually sync. Otherwise when you close it it syncs and you can also set the period for syncing.
Joplin syncing on my Nextcloud instance. I love being able to quickly screenshot something on my laptop for reference and later retrieve it on my phone :)
Ooo learn something new every day. I’m going to have to try this out later. Thanks!
A used Android pixel phone. You can root it and install Pideploy and run PiHole through it.
I have an old Pixel 3a doing exactly this. The other services I don’t quite know if they have an Android implementation.
Doesn’t suit your every use case, but I figured I’d share.
I use this app to control and keep the charge within that range:

Yep plugged in 24/7. The tablet is rooted and running a custom rom and I’ve set the battery charging rules so that it maintains charge from 50-80%.
I’ve had a tablet acting as a digital picture frame for a long time now and I always like to stop by and see pictures of our travels and stuff. For us at least it’s still cool. When it fails I’ll get another one.
Stares Germanly at my penis:
“sigh LASS UNS SCHEIßE FICKEN HERR PENIS!!!
