Slightly less good (software wise) but so much worth the money IMO. I’d avoid like the i96(IIRC. If no video output well I couldn’t setup ssh etc. That was some time ago so take the information with a grain of salt).
It’s a little more difficult space to navigate but worth it if you know why you want one for sure.
Splurged some crazy money on a Crucial MX 256GB, 320€ IIRC, I still think about it sometimes but god what an upgrade :-)
After years as my boot device it spent running lots of familys PCs witbout a hiccup, now it’s retired as a small extra ssd in a linux box.
I remember there were single cells, double now triple and quadruple, and back in the day single wete considered the best, IDK what’s the story today.

Yeah, make a Pi with 1GB RAM, video & ethernet for like 20-30€ and you’d ruin me.
I know about the banana, orange, whetever-pis but in my experience they always needed lots of extra stuff to work (like fucing and recompiling libraries). The Pi “just worked” IMO.
So what does it do?
For me a KVM is a switch for keeb, mouse and eventually a screen (or a virtual machine :-)

Just FYI: I post regular posts on one of my communities on my server and they usually get like 10-20 upvotes, since the upgrade they linger at just one or a couple upvotes.
On the support community on lemmy.world I get:

TDP is like the maximum so not very reliable when figuring out general power consumption. Stuff hooked up to the internet and not used very often, but always on, needs a low base consumption.
There is probably some iron triangle to be found there; cheap, large capacity ,reliable ; chose two.
It’s like that saying “better be alone than badly accompanied” (mieux vaut être seul que mal accompagné).
If alone is lingering with 1.5 million people who share at least something with you… I’m okay with that.

Do you know if it works well with GPIO from python? IIRC I had to use a OPi image and then fix and compile some low level lib.
