Definitely one of my favourites of the season! All the characters are great, the animation is so lively and the story is a perfect mix of funny and serious. This anime is going in my special list.

Ah yes, isekai trash.
Junk food is fine sometimes okay don’t judge me
Putting aside the animation quality (or lack thereof), I thoroughly enjoyed this anime from start to finish.
I recognised a lot of the things shown, especially in this episode, that I’ve experienced in my own life with me as well as people I know. I was worried about the representation when I first started the show but it completely blew away all my expectations. The author clearly knows what they’re doing.
Makoto is really strong. Self-confidence is hard but he really nailed it. How greedy, which is very fitting lol (the op has been given the honour of being in some of my special playlists).
I see a fan translation on Mangadex and an official English version on Webtoon. I’m gonna go with the fan translation because it’s further ahead and the scanlators have a really good track record.
Fly high, Makoto 🏳️⚧️

Kana suffering 😔
I’m 100% certain that they’re going to adapt the whole thing. I can’t wait for season 3.
This is the kind of show where I don’t really like any of the main characters but I still think they’re entertaining. This whole thing works because of how messy it is so the moment that’s resolved, the story ends.
I think the biggest reason I actually liked the show is because it knows it’s cringe and wears it like a badge of honour.
Teenager? I was a teenager once. They locked me in a room. A classroom. A classroom with teenagers. And teenagers make me crazy.
I don’t think I’ll check out the source material but if there’s a season 2 I’ll most likely watch it.
I was expecting to enjoy some isekai trash when I first saw the title. Then I kept going just because I loved the ed. This anime is surprisingly good. I didn’t know much about Dazai before but after reading more about him, I’m really interested in checking out some of his work.

I’ve been anticipating these for a while and I’m so excited to watch them.
Re:Zero S3
Time to hate on Subaru
365 Days to the Wedding
I read the manga when it was ongoing and I loved it! It’s such a cute and wholesome story.
Uzumaki
I love Junji Ito
Dan da dan
I never got around to read the manga but since the anime is here I’ll hold off on reading it for now.
Blue Box
Kimi wa Meido-sama
The description makes it sound like a drama but it’s tagged Comedy. Wut?
Maou 2099
Cyberpunk + Demon Lord? You have my attention.
Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naruzo
I’m a sucker for villainess isekai.
Orb: On the Movements of the Earth
Yarinaoshi Reijou wa Ryutei Heika wo Kouryaku chuu
Oh hey villainess isekai. Never seen that before.
How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer
This isn’t helping me beat the fujoshi allegations.
Touhai: Ura Rate Mahjong Touhai Roku
I know nothing about Mahjong but sure why not.
I might wait for a couple of episodes to come out first.
Ranma 1/2
NegaPosi Angler
Trillion Game
We’re almost at the end. Despite the overused chibi, I thoroughly enjoyed this anime. I can’t wait to see how all this wraps up.
Also shika virus infected the anime (get out of my head)

Masachika busted?? Maybe Alya was too caught up in the moment to notice.
I waiting so long and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the anime. It’s not all romance and comedy, the debates were really well written and I loved the mind games.
When Yuki started analysing Masachika’s cheap provocation, I knew it was over. That whole segment flowed so well and I love how well they communicated that indirectly by tying all the lead up to it together.
I’ll get around to reading the LNs one of these days, just wanna catch up to Classroom of the Elite and Tsukimichi first.
I also haven’t properly looked at all the upcoming anime. I think I’ll comment on the pinned thread on the weekend. I noticed some bangers coming out.
And the piece of shit makes his appearance for the first time in the anime.
I really love those symbolic animation sequences. They’re so captivating and I’m always impressed by how it communicates the story indirectly.
So far this is a strong contender for my favourite substory in the show, right next to Episode 8.
I think Greed is a misnomer for Yuriko because what she displayed was not greed. Empathy is hard when your own perspective is all you know. Sure communication would have easily solved this, but let’s be real, that’s way too hard.

Holy hell
I think this is the first two parter unless I’m misremembering.

That nurse is a stain alright
Komari really is way stronger than they think.

Studio quality Calli animation pog!!
The expressions especially are chef’s kiss
To be perfectly honest, I don’t think Makoto’s feelings were mutual. Ryuji’s evaluation was correct on why Makoto was dating him. That said, I don’t think it’s a bad reason. That’s what dating is for. I think Ryuji made the right call.
I don’t think Makoto feels any romantic attraction to Aoi either. This is just a part of Makoto’s growth and experiencing new things.
That aside, I’m happy to see that Aoi recognises that she has friends who love her. It’s sometimes hard to love yourself, and even harder to believe that anyone else loves you. I have a feeling that when she finally comes face to face with her mother, it’s not gonna be pretty.

I see Naori is playing dirty. I mean I expected that but it still caught me off guard because it just suddenly cut to credits.
This love pasta looks like my box of esoteric cables.
On the one hand, it’s annoying to see Rumi not listening to the sound advice from her friend and blowing up at Jun. On the other hand I can see where she’s coming from so I can’t really fault her for anything.
Nir challenged Sensei’s worldview. That’s probably one of my favourite instances of showing character growth.
Sensei paints the old man as weak and cowardly, but Nir shows that it’s not a personal failing because he’s fighting the same feelings.

Nukumizu thinks he’s the tsukkomi, implying that he’s the “normal” character… sounds of Kaju laughter
After seeing the club’s new advisor, I sense great chaos in the future 🍿
spirals spirals the never ending spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals spirals
The animation is so smooth, I wonder if they did rotoscoping for the movements. The black and white really brings out the body horror. It really captures the Junji Ito vibe perfectly.
