Yes, you need the pi separately. I didn’t know it was different tona standard pi. I thought all pis came without case and you could pick and choose what to add.

I have a Nas and use that for torrents, but it’s quite inderpowered. I use an old laptop as a home server for media. However, as it’s old, it’s not very efficient,.so I don’t want to leave it always on.
My router has PoE and this would have been an elegant solution. It works with a Pi, it just provides the form factor, was my understanding.

I’m just about to move house, which I thought was a perfect time to pick one up. I saw the news about no more new stock and then looked and everywhere that ships to me is out of stock.

I’d say you are getting conflicts. Can you put your isp router into bridge mode?

Which router is a router and which is a bridge? If they are both acting as routers, you may have conflicts. Is there only one dchp server? Can the openwrt router access internet (not clients) when proton is off.
If the transcoding is the problem, you could set up a sync thing folder that allows you to just drop on their media and have it sync across to them. It would be duplicated and I don’t know if it’s better than what you’re already doing but it’s simpler.

Grrrr
Haha, I don’t trust my own server either, but I don’t trust anyone elses even more.
Vaultwarden

Vaultwarden should!

Nice. I thought something like this was a great idea. My kids finished last year. I wonder if I can still log in and use it!
I’ve a Synology nas, so it’s running synologys os. It started as my docker container manager but it’s a pretty basic one, so my laptop became the docker manager for the more hefty stuff. My Nas just acts as a qbittorrent and file server now. Laptop is opensuse tumbleweed.
Ifnots effectively a back up of existing media, why to you want raid 1?

With Pihole off, look for your gateway address. That will be your router address. Are you using windows on your usual pc? Ipconfig command should show you your gateway, easily.
Then tap that into your browser to log in to your router and deactivate dhcp from it.

Omg, thanks for helping me to get the names. The arrs indeed.
Yes, I only realised when you pointed it out before.
