I haven’t even thought about that but now that you mentioned it the last scene would make quite a lot of sense. Oh I’m so ready for the next episode!

Imagine seeing a croissant and be like UUUOHHHHAGHHH!
Kaigo doesn’t have an easy life lol
Nico missed opportunity to have Morihito teach her how to cook but at least she got a kiss so still it’s an absolute win!
Even after the first trailer I knew it’s going to be a dark and heavy show but honestly I’m still shocked.
Everything, artstyle, music, atmosphere, contrast between characters makes this uneasy feeling… You feel this pain, this hopelessness.
Takopi has a really hard job to do but I really hope we will get a happy ending.
Yes, especially in the beginning when you have to look up multiple words every few seconds. You can’t really focus on the story with all the interruptions and you’re going to miss a lot of context that can’t just be easily translated with a dictionary so if you already know the context and the story you’ll have a much easier time.
I really like how magic tricks from gags were useful in battle!
Nico really outdid herself in this episode, not only did she come up with an actually good strategy but also did a great job supporting her friends!
Otogi finally has a sparring partner with equal strength. Kan-chan will have a hard time keeping up with those two! Can’t wait for the next episode!
I love how everything in the end falls into one piece. Even if I don’t figure everything out I have a lot of fun just thinking about all of the possible outcomes.
Osanai says Kobato is her next best choice but I think she’s wrong. He is her best choice and she is his best choice. They understand each other like few do.
Ngl that was one hell of a way to start the manga!
Unfortunately. But I feel like even if you gave everyone a good pay the gap would still remain.
Considering how much work needs to be done to produce even a mid anime the difference is staggering.
Hollywood executives are probably thinking like this: “I heard this whole anime thing is getting popular no? Those are just cartoons but Chinese right? Huh, Japanese? Whatever let’s just give them a few millions from our 10 billion dollars budget and we can milk our done to death stories even more!”
Honestly that is something I kinda fear. If Hollywood buys out much of the anime industry they could dictate what’s being produced. And I assure you that anything original is going to be rejected because it’s too “risky” and “it doesn’t make sense from a business perspective”.
Maybe it’s ridiculous but that’s just a fear I have.
I think that this season could’ve ended with episode 11. It would be a good climax. This episode adds more unanswered questions and it really wants to make hype for season 2… Except nothing has been announced so far.
Overall it was an ok show with an ok story and ok animation. Nothing exceptional but ok. Though ed was really good.
Anyway I’m looking forward to season 2.
The most wholesome shows would probably be:
But if you don’t mind just a little bit of drama or tears definitely I recommend those:
Golden Time is a fcking gold! There was a little bit of drama but overall I’d say it was quite wholesome.
Especially this type of anime. But we were “promised” an oni vs wolf fight and we’re going to get one! Just without Nico as support. But maybe she’ll find a way?
Dude WTF is this cliffhanger! But at least judging from the sound they managed to block that attack.
Kobato and Osanai getting emotional was so sweet. Caring about each other might be the most ordinary thing they did together so far.
I absolutely love the mystery in this series. It’s always presented in a way that is not overwhelming and gives you just enough information to try to solve it by yourself. Every clue falling into one coherent story. It’s just a masterpiece.
Yeah, for me she seemed suspicious because she was the only person in the hospital that seemed to dislike the job.
This obviously is no proof or anything but still. I thought Kobato falling asleep was strange but I didn’t expect to really be her.
Wow I didn’t expect this episode to be so serious! It was still great though.
Oh definitely I can see that little gremlin doing just that!
I don’t know why I didn’t start to watch it right away but now I binged all 12 episodes and oh boy how great it was!
From the very start when they mix hotel commercial with deathly virus news and then transition to daily life over hundreds of years and epic fights, SoL, rom-com, absolute vibe to the return of human(s)!
I absolutely loved every second of this show.
I didn’t even skip op once!
Although at first I wasn’t very liking op song that much but after 12 episodes I want to listen to it more! And the Yachiyo dance was soo good every time it was impossible for me to skip.
Hidden gem of this season!
