Anything in particular you’re using that much ram for in a Synology? That’s a sick setup regardless.

Haven’t setup backups or anything yet as it’s just me testing for fun. I’ll probably just have it backup to S3 (single region infrequent access) a few times a day if I decide to stick with it. Less than $10/month right now which is fine with me for now.
Haha that’s awesome. Might be fun to set it up so that shows I haven’t watched get stored on a ram drive or the m.2 and then transferred over or something.
I’m actually not the OP, but that’s interesting about the synology. I have an older 918+ that’s still running really well for me. Running plex, home automation, and as a Time Machine backup with no issues. They’re great little devices.
