I guess you can install it if that’s an issue then.
I use Arch btw

The OS is not a problem I can guarantee you that. Fedora is a fine operating system
Glad to donate money to the team. Love their work
Crucial and wd are usually the cheapest and they’re reputable
I’ve went through many drives and found WD Reds to be most quiet and perform pretty well. I have it in the same room as 3 other people doing work.
I have a 2 bay synology nas as well. I fucking love how easy it was to set up following guides online like from Marius Hosting (I gotta donate to that guy). Everything works perfectly from Adguard, Jellyfin, syno photos, etc. As I progress, the next nas I might make it myself but for now, the Synology nas is amazing.
Qemu/virt manager. I’ve been using it and it’s so fast. I still need to get the clipboard sharing working but as of right now it’s the best hypervisor I’ve ever used.
I mean or docker containers for jellyfin would do fine. I think nextcloud has a docker container as well.
Install debian server, open ssh, docker, adguard home (I find this UI easier to use but if you wanna go with pihole go ahead)
I am my cloud provider. Don’t have duplicate copies of my server yet so I guess I’m kinda fucked.
I would go with Jellyfin instead of Plex. It’s open source and works great
Or truenas
Adguard Home or pihole is a must. Jellyfin is also pretty cool.
Rock 64 or zimaboard are some other alternatives. Iirc they’re around the same price range though.
Some things never change
the login looks like a good phishing attempt 🤔
Edit: hmm cool it’s an OTP thing
I use Aegis as well. I auto backup the files to my NAS at home
Well you’re looking at it. 3.5in is faster
