This was just OK. The underlying story and world is good enough to carry the adaption, but the pacing was awful. Crawling at times, literally fading to black to skip foward at others. Moments that seemed pivotal and important were all but skipped though (the whole dragon bit which sets up the plot for the rest of the story…)
Now he’s St. Bishop Maso-zombie Weirdo!
I liked the ending. It kind of cuts arbitrarily the story, but that’s understandable. At least they did it in a good point, with the two receptionists marrying and Luciel becoming a bishop.
I think this was the best isekai of the season. It started out really slow, but became one of the ones I looked forward to each week.
I’m serious, Sweet Reincarnation, the title was yours to lose, and damn if you didn’t do just that.I didn’t think I was going to like this one, but it really grew on me as the season progressed. Lots of cool world building, and a good message. I would definitely watch a S2 if they decided to make it. It’s set up nicely for multiple seasons with multiple labyrinths.
