I had a volvo 142 in the nineties (2.0L), did 200km/h and took insane amount of beating in the swedish forest gravel roads without complaining. Drove 200km without the clutch once. Spacy too.
By “without a clutch” you mean changing gears at exactly the right moment? I did that too but not too much since more often than not I grinded a gear lol
Exactly, you’d accelerate, drop the gas and slide the next gear in, easy peasy. Going down is harder because you have to match the close to correct rpm upwards. And hell to get rolling from a cold start 😁.
