When it comes to anything coming out of Japan, you can usually just add 10 years to their age and both the visuals and themes make more sense. You often see characters and you’re like “well that’s obviously a 20 year old” and then the character introduces themselves as an 8 year old.
Or they say they’re over 400 years old. I forget how old the lolibrarian (Beatrice from Re:Zero) said she is, but she looks 8 or 9, I suppose. (She’s still awesome, I love the sass.)
