    That was excellent, and this series absolutely has my attention.

    The characterizations are already compelling and I really like the designs too, and Hinagiku’s rite was breathtakingly beautiful (as was the song). And the whole interaction with Nazuna was wonderful, from start to finish.

    The plot looks like it’s going to be an intriguing mix of gritty realism and high fantasy, and with all of the mysteries and tragedies and secrets they hinted at, it should be well worth it.

    If this keeps up the standard it set with this episode, it should easily be among the best of the season.
