the fact that you say it was running fine then suddenly you’re seeing that error is interesting. we’re there any package updates done? maybe jellyfin got bumped to a new version of .NET runtime and whatever package manager you’re using didn’t install the dependency for you? you’ll either need to install .NET 9 or figure out why the runtime can’t be located

docker would take dependency management out of the equation, but termux wouldn’t handle it well i don’t think

While we are here, why not use docker? If you trouble shoot your way into getting docker running, then everything will work automatically.

Through termux? You’re running this on an android phone? I didn’t know you could do that. What process did you follow? What happens if you rerun the installation process?

You can just install it with pkg in jellyfin-server. I actually run a lot of stuff on termux. Like Forgejo, syncthing, Readeck, TOR as dns resolver
But i dont want to set it up again

I don’t know all that much about jellyfins runtime on android in general, but if it depends on dotnet could you try running dotnet —info

If that returns nothing or outdated packages, you could probably install or update them with something along the lines of:

    pkg update

    apt install --reinstall \ dotnet-hostfxr-9.0 \ dotnet-runtime-9.0 \ aspnetcore-runtime-9.0 \ dotnet-host
