October 2026, so it’s starting next month.
spoiler
Looks like they’re doing Beerus, Frieza, and the Universe 6 vs 7 tournament since they showed Hit?

oic, it’s the manga version animated.
I’ve heard it’s just a remaster of the anime
“original manga”? Didn’t the anime come before the manga for these arcs? I think the manga only caught up after the anime was over already? Then again the manga skipped the resurrection of Frieza so maybe they caught up there lol
I guess that’s good enough for me lol. I wonder how much they will change from the previous anime release.

And 漫画 hasn’t finished as I reply to you back, Fuji Television cancelled the アニメ in 2018.
Sure the manga barely started before the anime DBS show, but it’s more complicated than that, for example
the movie https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/Dragon_Ball_Z:_Battle_of_Gods
the manga https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/God_of_Destruction's_Premonition
The movie was released March 30, 2013, but the manga didn’t start until June 24, 2016.
Although it seems there was a “promotional” manga that came out earlier, it is not THE manga https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Ball_Z:_Battle_of_Gods#Tie-ins_with_other_media
And it appears to be an adaptation of the movie, not the other way around. In this case I guess you could say neither the anime nor the manga (nor the promotional manga) is the “original”, the movie is the original.
For Resurrection of F https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/Dragon_Ball_Z:_Resurrection_‘F’
There was again a promotional manga, but it was an adaptation of the movie, and it did not even show the ending. So again here the movie is the “original”. And then the DBS manga series skipped this saga.

https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/Universe_6_Saga#Manga_Chapters
The Universe 6 Saga ended May 1, 2016 in the anime, and June 21, 2016 in the manga, so the anime was ahead by the end of the saga. This is probably the saga that most needs the remaster, since it looked rough and had no movie.
https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/"Future"_Trunks_Saga#Manga_Chapters
In the Future Trunks Saga, the anime both starts and ends before the manga. The anime goes from June 12, 2016 to January 15, 2017, and the manga goes from July 21, 2016 to July 18, 2017.
https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/Universe_Survival_Saga#Manga_Chapters
The Universe Survival Saga started February 5, 2017 in the anime, and August 21, 2017 in the manga, so the anime was ahead again. And the anime finished sooner too: March 25, 2018 vs November 20, 2018.
(not sure if this arc will be getting remastered though)
Now obviously going into the Galactic Patrol story, we have to follow the manga.
