One thing I dislike is how Rudy does not share his troubles with his wives.
Like c’mon, you are married. Shouldn’t your spouse(s) be your most important partner and confidant?

It’s a very difficult spot, because of the butterfly effect. I suppose some choices would become very hard if his wives would also know of the diary. Taking Eris in, for example, would not be easier if they knew that it was mostly to avoid in-fighting, or further difficult paths, and not love.
The butterfly effect has started the moment future Rudy came back. Present Rudy has acknowledged as much.
That’s working under the assumption that Rudy must make all the decisions himself.
How about having him consult his wives? How about being honest with them - even about Eris - and making these difficult decisions as a team? That’s how healthy relationships work, no?
Then again, looks like I’m taking this fictional piece of work too seriously 😅
