    As good as it is, I don’t see how Bocchi the Rock is a blueprint for girls band anime tbh.

    The closest that would fill Bocchi’s position here IMO is BanG! Dream. However, five years passed between the first season of Bandori and Bocchi. Only a year passed between Bocchi and MyGO!!!!!, Girls Band Cry, Jellyfish Can’t Swim and the Night, and more girls band anime released after those three.
