It’s alright, I can let this one stand as it has generated a healthy amount of comments by the time I saw it. But yeah, in the future, a meme focused community would be the right place for it.
That being said, if you want to make a post when the movie or a new season comes out plugging a series-specific community, that would totally be fine.
Yeah, fully intended for this to go on c/animemes, and sometimes when photon pulls this shit I can ninja delete and repost, but I didn’t notice this time.
It’s a very annoying bug. In the Photon WebUI, sometimes when you go to create a post, it doesn’t post to the community you have open, but rather the one you just came from.
it’s because of how my select component works, you need to click the community since it has some info just typing wouldn’t give. I’ll try to fix this later today
and by default, it’ll auto fill your post with the community you were last in.

why didn’t you make a github issue?
Because I could have sworn there was one about this already?
Yup: https://github.com/Xyphyn/photon/issues/101

The autofill isn’t reliably the community you’re actually in, but sometimes one visited earlier, also mentioned in that issue.
