      Sometimes for a long running series, it already has 99% of the fans that it’s going to get…

      Particularly with something that’s not a blatantly commercial crowd pleaser like a shonen fight of the week

    I shouldn’t be surprised, that Kaiju no8 is doing well, but I still am. It is one of the most formulaic mangas I have ever read.

      I liked it in the beginning, when the dude was just a member of the side team. But they’ve gotten troupey and have been stretching it out.

        Yeah, exactly. It kinda started out as an interesting twist, but it quickly got with the formula within a few chapters. It lost all it’s uniqueness upsettingly quickly.
