Another great episode. Thankfully, it seems like they decided to keep the pacing of the manga. It might be a slow burn, but I think that’s the reason all the payoffs feel earned.

This episode was a good introduction to the way Miko and Shiori interact. Their animosity towards each other helps to drive the show in more ways than one. Looking forward to more of their interactions!

Dang, I guess that does happen. It would be nice to hear what the plot was going to be at least, though I doubt it will ever happen since that’s the reason it was it cancelled. At least we still have the show.

The more I watch of this, the more I remember the Webtoon. Honestly, I think it’ll be a fun watch in a soap opera way. Basically everything that happens is just an excuse to add more drama. I do find it funny that we have only seen the friends in the coffee shop. Really makes it seem like they just live there. I did find this episode flowed better than the first, so I don’t think I’ll drop it for now.

Oh, that’s disappointing to hear. Then again, it could work well with this premise. Just need to find it subbed now…

This was a fun start. I really like the idea of trying to change fate, though with her catching the thieving maid, it does seem like it is not a question of “if” she can do it but rather “how” she’ll do it. With the “how” seeming to be having a loving father/daughter relationship, I think this could be a really fun show.

Agreed. I think that the answer to those questions could be used in a very interesting way. Narratively, I can think of so many things they could do with it. I wonder if we’ll get the answers sooner, or if they will wait to drop it on us in a reveal at the end.

This was a pretty good premier! It definitely made me want to keep watching. Lots of questions coming up as well as some nice crumbling world shots. I’m hoping that the relationship between the two leads is able to be fulfilling for this show, because I think that could make this one of the better shows this season.

I thought this one was fun. I’m worried that the main character will become annoying if they just stick with the one joke, but at least for now I’m in. Mostly I just find the life of a mangaka to be fascinating. The whole industry is interesting, and maybe this can show a bit more of it, though I’ll bet it’ll be more office comedy than anything else.

For those who are interested in that industry, I really liked the look into the industry I got in the manga Itookashi from the writer of Call of the Night/Dagashi Kashi.

This show had some good moments and the characters were fun, if sometimes a bit of one note. All in all, I’m not upset I watched it, but don’t think I would recommend outside some light watching. It became the show I would watch whenever I was doing dishes, which I think was a perfectly good way to watch it. I heard good things about the manga, so maybe I’ll check that out if I want more chill entertainment.

Yup! I don’t think this first episode had the same sauce as the first episode of Dan Da Dan, but definitely still hooked me.

I checked out the manga before this aired to see if it was worth watching. It was fun, but nothing too special. Really felt like it lacked much conflict, but still was fun. I think I’ll keep watching, but only if I don’t get too busy with other releases.

Agreed! I want to keep watching just so I can get a grasp on what this show even is. Seems like it’ll most likely be a mystery, but what a weird vibe for the first episode.

Never seen Gintama, but that video was really well done! I’m always happy for a new collab in Mahj Soul, even if it’s something I don’t really know. With what little I know about Gintama, I’m sure they’ll do something fun with this collab!

I am very excited to watch this one. I really enjoyed the first major story arc from the manga. That said, I think the second major arc that we’re currently in is not as exciting, but mostly because I just enjoyed the characters from the first arc so much. There’s no way that we’ll get to that point this season, though, so I’m happy to enjoy this one for now.

That was as crazy and weird as I was hoping for. I’ve only read the first couple chapters, but I’m hoping this can be something special. Science Saru and Paru Itagaki designs look so good in this. Now that we’ve kind of learned the main conceit, I’m hoping it can really start digging into some good story soon.

I want to watch this one based entirely on how the poster looks. Sadly, I can’t find it streaming anywhere. Wonder if it’s not going to be even dubbed…

Interesting second episode. Definitely enjoyed this episode better than the previous. I’m still not completely sold on it, especially since the antagonists so far are just pointlessly evil, but I think it still has a chance to improve. The animation was solid during the fight scene, too, so that’s something to look forward to. Curious where the plot is going to go, at the very least. If it’s just knock out the bad guys because they’re bad, that’ll be disappointing, but the ED pointed to there maybe being a bit more to it. Well, fingers crossed, and I’m actually looking forward to the next episode.

I was very excited about this one and the first episode did not disappoint! I feel like this can work to fill the missing The Summer Hikaru Died hole in my heart. Hopefully the quality continues and we get some more creepy monster designs. I don’t know if it will reach the highs that Hikaru did, but it’s already done better than I expected! I was really worried since the studio hasn’t done anything that I’ve seen before and seems to be a newer studio, but so far they’ve nailed it. Very excited to see more!

I’ve heard good things about the manga, so hopefully the adaptation is good. Definitely gonna watch a few episodes of this one when it comes out. According to anilist, it’s going to be done by studio bones, so it’s at least going to look good!
