Before streaming, I would need to wait for the next VHS or DVD to arrive at the store to see what happened next. Evangelion in particular only had the last VHS in Japanese in my local store (I was young and preferred the dubs). It was fun waiting for the next one to come out. Gave me something to look forward to.

Same goes for Berserk 97. When I found out the last DVD was it for the series, I was like WHAT? Surely there will be follow up.

And now it’s 2025. They tried a few times but we all know what happened.

Cyberpunk Edgrunners is the only one I’ve really binged lately. Started with an episode thinking I’d watch one and go to sleep, next thing I knew it was 6AM and I was crying while finishing it up.

The entirety of Kill La Kill in one go on new years eve, wouldn’t recommend (24 EPs are too much)

And Vivy which I watched with my mom, was like a long movie

One time I finished the Namek arc in DBZ.

At the time, there was no binging, but everything was stopped every Saturday night at midnight, when Adult Swim came on and Gundam Wing began.
