I’m okay with isekai, fantasy races and magic. But I draw the line at a big-breasted elf girl not getting a man regardless of how rotten her personality is. Some things my suspension of disbelief just can’t overcome.

She might be a lot more picky than she lets on during the silly monologues. If she has minimum wealth or appearance thresholds, her dating pool could be quite small.

Damn. I read the associated LN, so the scene wasn’t a surprise for me. But it’s still damn great to see the Brain Eaters - goofy but terrorising at the same time.

Also, the sisters were 10/10 - Takuto should send them as envoys more times!

I caught up on the LN after episode 1 of the anime.

The story is a fun twist on the overplayed “I died and got reborn in my favourite game” genre. The characters and growth is fantastic and dark.

Lots of inner monologue for most of the beginning of the show, that can be difficult for adaptations. Antelise definitely was drawn… differently than I imagined her but I guess it might fit her character (with the constant face art changes and chibi-ness etc). Turns out evil isn’t always aligned with evil.
