I’m not going to trust the masters of industrial slop, soulless remakes, and shitty adaptaions to make anything worth seeing.

French animation is doing fine, it’s just not as massive as the Japanese counterpart. Plenty of other western studios produce excellent work at their own pace.

Honestly, people like it when more effort than necessary is put into something. Especially stuff presumably aimed at children.

Is it animating they want to do, or tell stories? Just tell the stories, Adult Swim has been doing it for yonks. Smiling friends, awesome. Venture bros, awesome…
