I really liked that big cat and little cat that kept having sorta little fights and then hissing at eachother. That stuff was so cute, it reminded me of my own cats they get like that sometimes. And the one cat is also a lot older than the bigger one, just like mine.

I gave up on smoking as well, but gave the first episode a try. If there’s one thing I can praise it for, it absolutely truly does not glamorize smoking.
Honestly what I’m scared of is if I watch this anime it may give me cravings to smoke again haha. Usually you know someone lights up in a movie or whatever no problem, I can handle it in real life too, but if this anime is about smoking non stop, like chain smoking (what I used to do) then I fear it may be a tad much for my brain to handle.
The first episode has a scene where the main girl drops a bunch of cigarettes in actual shit and she decides to “clean them off” so she can still smoke them. There’s also a scene where she digs through her trash to find a “soggy cig” that she smokes and gets sick from
sounds like the type of shit i woulda done when i was still a smoker. so i’m good to avoid it. not saying i won’t watch it ever, but maybe its a wise choice for me to hold it off just a few more years till i’m stronger in my not smoking. i didn’t pull them out of actual shit, but yeah i have had moments where i had to go ashtray fishing in my ashtray, unwrap them, and roll new smokes with them just because it was a sunday and i was out of tobacco. and yes, that is as disgusting as it sounds, it tastes horrible.
No dude, I get you. Just because it doesn’t glamorize it doesn’t mean it wouldn’t trigger some weird fucked up sense of nostalgia. You’re right to stay away if you’re concerned.
haha yeah I think I’m just gonna hold off watching this for a couple of years mind you I don’t blame this anime at all, hey this is the story, this is what it is, right? I think I even read the goal is for her to stop smoking so thats even a good thing. I’ve been doing great for a few years now but you know what they say smokers never really quit. and so yeah, best to be safe than sorry. maybe i’ll watch this when I visit Japan in a few years, which I’m able to save up for also thanks to having quit smoking. ;)
TBH I always felt bad about watching Tom get abused, so anime catgirls are clearly a vast improvement regardless of how much you’re actually into that.
