That is literally impossible to have seen that in only a year.
24,312 episodes means 66.608 episodes a day. At 23/min an episode this is 1,531.98min/day and comes out to 25.53hr/day which is literally impossible let alone physically.
Unless you were doing something like watching at 4-8x but even then it would not leave much time for sleep, work and other life-related matters.
Yes, from a pure time-based perspective but not from a physically possible one. It’d leave you with only 1.79hr/day to do anything else, including sleep.

Didn’t get it either at first but I think they are referring to their total watchtime being about a year, not having started anime a year ago.
Oh, well I feel dumb then…
This, probably. Though it’s still a lot.
The profile page OP linked says “Since 2006”, so ~17 years.
But as you said, that’s still a lot. I didn’t start too much later and am “only” at 128.8 days.
If you’re watching for enjoyment you’re not doing so at 4x-8x speed.
I’ve watched half of ‘endless eight’ episodes at 4x the speed, and enjoyed it more than would’ve at normal speed, but that’s probably an exception =).
Maybe theyre a heretic that skips the OP and ED of every episode? That cuts down 24 min episodes by like 4 minutes to just 20 minutes.
That puts it at least in the realm of possibility with 66.6 episodes per day taking 22.2 hours.
If you cut out the average opening and ending length of every episode, would it be possible I wonder

lol, I figured that’d be the case. Thanks for doing the math 🙏
