    That might have been the point: That “aniwatchtv.to” and its related infrastructure like servers and/or networking were somehow compromised and came within reach of Indian authorities, or whatever internet cops, and that the parts of “HiAnime.to” are somewhere else and somehow safer.

    Don’t ask me how any of that works.

    You see that a lot, most recently with flamescans --> flamecomics

        If you think about it, the domain, who hosts it, where the whois points to as administering it, all of those are important parts of what makes a website usable.
